~ BRIAN DUNAGAN - GUITAR & VOCALS ~

Brian brings the unmistakable spirit of Texas blues-rock to the stage as guitarist and vocalist for ZZ NOT, Alabama's premier tribute to the legendary ZZ Top.  With decades of live performance experience, Brian delivers the gritty guitar tones, soulful vocals and high-energy stage presence that made Billy Gibbons and ZZ Top icons of American rock music. 

A seasoned performer with a deep appreciation for blues, classic rock and Southern roots music, Brian has built a reputation for authentic musicianship and crowd- pleasing performances throughout the Southeast.  His powerful guitar work and soulful vocals capture the essence of ZZ Top's greatest hits,  while  bringing his own passion & personality to every show.

Brian helps recreate the sound, style and attitude that fans have loved for more than five decades.  His commitment to authenticity and entertainment makes every ZZ NOT performance a memorable celebration of one of rock's most enduring bands.

~ GEOFF SIDES - PERCUSSION ~

Geoff is a multi-instrumentalist who started playing piano at age 8, drums at 10, bass at 17 & Latin percussion in his mid 30's - he has been playing semiprofessionally and professionally for over 47 years.

He has played and sang on many commercial jingles in multiple markets, has done studio session work with the UAB Gospel Choir and other local artists & has over 12 years of experience playing Black Contemporary Gospel.

In 2000, as a member of the Jazz group, Tekneek, the group was nominated as Instrumental Band of the Year by the Stellar Awards (the Gospel equivalent to a Grammy).

He has played with such notable names as Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, Randy Owens of the group Alabama, Martha Reeves of the group Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, Meli'sa Morgan, Ernie Watts of the Tonight Show Band & Play of Kid & Play.  He toured with 2 musical stage productions as a member of the pit band and has played with local various duos, trios & bands with a wide range of genres from Big Band Jazz, Country, Blues, Rock & Roll and Contemporary Jazz.

Geoff has also been a live audio engineer for the State of Alabama for 7 years and a freelance audio and studio engineer for 35 years.

KIRK SMITH - BASS & VOCALS
